A wonderful Memento Mori style pendant depicting a lifelike skull, modelled in resin with fine engraving and twinkling diamond set eyes (approx. 0.05ct each). 

Memento mori is Latin for ‘Remember that you have to die’. During the 17th Century, Memento Mori jewellery was decorated with skulls, crossbones and coffins which seem macabre today but these pieces were a reminder to cherish each waking day.

It’s a great collector’s piece and fitted with an 18ct gold loop on top.
