I attached an etched antique pocket watch piece to an antique enamel watch dial, and then added a silver man in the moon,  Swarovski crystals in shades of blue, and a vintage sapphire watch crown. This comes with a 24 inch silver filled snake chain.

Some European myths claim that the man in the moon is an exile who was banished for crimes committed, while other cultures say he is as a guardian who watches over us. The Inuits believe he is the keeper of souls, both men and animals. Whatever your beliefs, this image has been used for countless centuries in art and legend.

I love doing altered art pieces. I like the idea of being able to recycle vintage items and turn them into something entirely different. I find this style of design unusual and intriguing.
