Black Onyx Button Beads on a 15" Strand. These button (unfaceted rondelle shape) beads measure approximately 5mm wide and make the ideal spacer bead.

Black Onyx is a solid black form of onyx without the banding (as in Sardonyx) and is another variety of microcrystalline quartz and a form of chalcedony. Our black onyx tends to be very black but can have occasional brown in it, especially in larger examples.
